A very warm welcome to Villa Jacqueline and a holiday home that I hope you find full of warmth and comfort for the days and
nights you will be spending in this beautiful part of Spain . Restoring Villa Jacqueline has taken many months of care and love
to ensure a home for fun and relaxation which I am hoping will return you safely home feeling full of energy and happy
memories. In a brief and hopefully helpful way I have listed below some tips on some of the things that may help your stay is as
stress free as possible but if you do find that something is not covered in this brief please feel free to call the folks that look
after Villa J when I am away or indeed if they are not available please call me as I am sure I can help, the numbers of contact
are:
Jim and Wilma Lawler 0034 603 449 635 or 0034 674 932 997
Nic B 0044 07776 161644
And whilst on the subject of digits the code for the WiFi is b5AA8E7AF8bF8E66F366
In summary the main points I would make are as following:
AIR CONDITIONING
All bedrooms have air conditioning with the controls either by the bed or on the bedroom wall brackets with further units and
controls in the dining area and also the games room. The bedrooms are useful for cooling approximately 30 mins before
retiring for the night but the controls have a timer section so the choice is yours, the dining area and games room I have not
needed to use but again the choice is down to you. The main point to make with the air conditioning system is that it will not
function well with the doors and windows left open.
TV, DVD, MUSIC & SATELLITE SYSTEM
Hopefully this is very straightforward with two controls on the main coffee table in the lounge, one controls the TV and the other
for the Digi box located underneath the TV in the sideboard cupboard. In this same cupboard there is a DVD player and
separate control + a small selection of movies. The docking station for the music system is located on top of the sideboard.
KITCHEN EQUIPMENT
There are various manuals in the lower drawer / shelf of the sideboard with the large lattice effect mirror above explaining how
all the kitchen equipment operates should you need some guidance.
A small tap on the kitchen sink produces some very drinkable fresh water .
OIL AND GAS SUPPLIES
These are regularly checked before and after the holiday but should you encounter any difficulties with water not heating then
please call Jim , Wilma or me and a swift visit will ensure the supply is restored.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Pool man and the Gardeners come in each week usually on a Friday to ensure that the Villa outside areas are clean and
in full working order , again if you have any issues that require some attention please call on the numbers above .
Although we have little issues with insects it can in the very hot weather produce some activities from midgies , should this be
the case each bedroom has as a precaution a plug in repellent devise that will keep your rooms insect free.
Rubbish should be kept within the various bin bags provided and taken to the bin area on a regular basis to ensure a fresh and
clean environment ( The bin area is located by turning right out of the Villa, down to the main Jesus Pobre road where a right is
taken, approximately 500 metres further on the right hand side of Jesus Pobre road is the main collection area).
Outside furniture including pool loungers, chairs, hammocks, benches, stools are all provided and set up as are the Beach
towels you will find in your bedrooms.
If you require medical assistance there is an excellent private clinic within 3 minutes drive and the
details are as follows.
Dr Erik Rempt , Clinica La Ermita , Jesus Pobre 156 , Montgo , Javea
Telephone 0034 966 462 112.
There is a great little Supermarket beyond the Clinica La Ermita selling all sorts of products and has some of the best quality
meat cuts around and is called La Ermita Supermercado, for the bigger stores a trip into Javea is needed but these folks sell
pretty much everything you would need on holiday (they even order your favourite newspaper for pick up every day).
Finally for now I have listed below some of our favourite places to eat and drink which I hope you will also find worth a visit, all
of which are within a few minutes walk.
Further literature on places to visit , maps of Javea , takeaways, taxis etc can be found in the right hand draw of the sideboard
below the large lattice effect mirror.
One last point, I don't take inventories as this is my home so if you do enjoy some of the beverages in the bar or from the wine
racks please enjoy and leave me something to come back to!!!
I wish you and yours a great time.
Hasta la Vista
